Theme: There is still time for a miracle.
Text: Matthew 20:6 (NLT)
“At five o’clock that afternoon he was in town again and saw some more people standing around. He asked them, ‘Why haven’t you been working today?’
Reflection:
Welcome to the eleventh month of the year. Contrary to the beliefs of many who assume that the year is over and God is done with them, He is still willing and able to grant any interested persons their miracles in this 11th hour. This miracle causes you to be chosen for God’s favour even when it appears it is too late for any good to come out of your circumstances.
The miracle in today’s text, is that a worker was recruited at the last hour of the day (the 11th hour) and though he worked for just one hour, he was paid the same as those who had laboured all day because God favoured him. When God’s favour shows up for a man, every protocol and human reasoning is broken just so that that person can be blessed.
Do you think it is impossible to accomplish your goals because the year is almost done? Remember that God can still give you the 11th hour miracle in the last minute of the year. It is not over until God says it is. There is still time for a miracle, do not give up now!
Prayer:
O God of impossibilities, show me mercy, grace my life with favor this year end. Thank you for permitting me to see the eleventh month of the year in the name of Jesus. Amen
