September 10: Chronicles 4 Today by Br. Mekwi
Theme: Start immediately
Text: Genesis 41:46 (NKJV)
Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh and went throughout all the land of Egypt.
Reflection:
It has been said that one of Satan’s most effective tools against mankind is the tool of procrastination. He encourages us to delay action until such a time as is convenient to us. Of course, this has caused many projects to never take off, and in other cases, opportunities for growth and breakthroughs have been missed.
When Joseph was appointed as Prime Minister of Egypt, he immediately went to take stock of the land and started putting in place the structures needed for the vision to come to pass. Instead of going back home to enjoy his newfound freedom or spending time with his new wife rather he immediately embarked on fulfilling the vision that had been given to him.
What are you waiting for to embark on that vision? Are you more focused on other things rather than the assignment you have been given? It is the beginning of another season and there is no better time to start than now. Sooner than later you will realize that the time has passed and you have not fulfilled the vision. Considering the urgency of the situation, the time to start is now.
Prayer:
Father may the urgency of the season fall upon my heart that i may begin this work today without delay in the name of Jesus. Amen
See you at the top!
